The Xanian Empire (Xanian: Tâzeno Xâkömâro), or more simply known as Xania (Xanian: Xâkömâr), is an interstellar government centered on the planet of Zhakar in the Zhevon system. The Xanian Empire has existed for the largest two thousand years following the wake of the Unification Wars. Since then, the Xanian species has existed under a single banner, and are governed by the Tazen, who's authority is absolute. Spanning the entirety of the Xanians' home system and several hundred star systems, Xania has long been a major interstellar power in the galaxy, with numerous enslaved species under its control, many since the Xanians' creation of the void drive. Contact with humanity was established in n/a, and has been peaceful even since then, though the empire has had to keep the zharuks in line to avoid potential conflict with humanity.
